Conflict Resolution
There is one thing that we can all count on, we may
not like it and yet so many of us have no clue what to do about
it. I'm referring to conflict. Whenever human beings get together
there is a high probability that sooner or later there will be
some sort of conflict. Granted, all conflict is not bad or negative,
but sustained, fueled, intensified and 'no holds barred' conflict
can lead to nothing but dangerous and weakening experiences.
Conflict is defined as: to come to collision or
disagreement; in opposition a fight, battle or struggle. So you
can see that conflict
can cover quite an array of reactionary expressions that can
have varying results.
Conflict resolution, or what
I choose to call Transformational Mediation, is a process, a
tool for changing the energy of
resistance to the energy of understanding and agreement. This tool
of transformational
mediation is for individual people {neighbors, families, businesses
or friends}, organizations and religious institutions that
are "stuck" at
an unacceptable level in their growth or prosperity because
of the perspective that someone else is wrong/at fault and there
is
an evident need to force an agenda that promotes more division
and even less success.
Using a five step process, with the guidance of
the facilitator, the participants will have an opportunity to hear
both sides
of the conversation clearly, speak what's on their mind and
arrive at a place where common positives can lay the groundwork
for
an
agreement to move forward, responsibly, in a new light.
If you or someone you know or love is embedded in
conflict, shoot me an e-mail and let's see what can be done about
it.
All transformational mediations require a volunteer
commitment by each party to show a willingness to entertain the
possibility
of change. I am willing to travel to provide this service,
expenses will be determined by location, transportation,
lodging etc.
All pricing structures are totally customized to the
requirements of
each client's situation. A basic process will last three
hours, but that can also vary with the situation.
Remember, to see success clearly, your vision must
be on your dreams - not focused on your worries. To desire
it,
to vision
it and then
to become it, you must first transform it - in your
mind.
